A little slice of Project Life

I could never keep up with Project Life, and I am the sort of person who would need to 'keep up', but I have really enjoyed seeing other people's PL layouts this year.  Since we come to the same place in France every school holiday, I tend to take a lot of similar photos and they no longer warrant a full 12x12 layout so I thought it would be a perfect time to test out PL over the summer.
I had some 6x4 divided pages in my stash from a couple of years ago so I decided to use those rather than buying dedicated Project Life page protectors.
My first week was only Thursday to Sunday so I made a single page, then I'll try to do a double for the next 4 weeks.
The title card is actually a Christmas one, but I covered the 'Merry and Bright' motif with a July calendar page from the Papermania All Aboard 6x6 pack. The alpha is BasicGrey and the washi tape is also from the All Aboard collection.
I printed my photos in collages using my tiny HP Photosmart Photo Printer, as a I don't have a  proper printer in France. It prints at 6x4 or 2 per page or 4 per page so is quite flexible. For the other cards I used the same washi and another sheet of All Aboard 6x6 paper. The kraft stripes gave me a good journaling strip to add to the collage prints. I used our ferry boarding pass and cut out a ferry from the on-board magazine.

I quite enjoyed the creative process. We have a busy week ahead of us so I'm looking forward to making my first ever double page Project Life spread.

Portable printers seem just the job for a Project Lfe on the move! Hope you enjoy the new form of scrapping whilst away from your usual home.
