Our corner of Northern France is not renowned for its good weather at the best of times so, especially after the rotten summer the UK has experienced this year, it was a lovely surprise to get here and have (so far) 4 days of warm sunshine. That sky is more often an overcast white.
We have been making the most of it - eating and playing outside and the children have been in the water every chance they get.
Unfortunately, the weather forecast looks much less good for the next few weeks, so we'd better head to the beach tomorrow before it's too late.
