The Colour of Summer - Ice Cream Inspirations

I love ice cream. And I have just seen this series of posts called The Colour of Summer - Ice  Cream Inspirations on Kristin's blog and Carolyn's blog. I missed out on making a creation inspired by Mint Choc Chip - although I may still do it as mint green and chocolate is such a yummy combo. This week's inspiration flavour is Baseball Nut. I'm a UK girl and I had to do a bit of research to find out what this was (love Google). The explanation I found was here and it looks very tasty
More importantly, it's a very simple colour combo.
The ripple of raspberry immeeiately reminded  me of the little-used handmade paper I had in my stash and from there it was a short hop to a leaving card for a colleague.

I tore the handmade papers to accentuate the texture and then added some of the pretty acrylic accents which were free with 'Papercraft Inspirations' this month.

Hi Kirsty!

This is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing it with us - and I'm so happy you're playing along!

I hope you don't mind if I put this into week 3's link up? That way, others can easily find you and your baseball nut work. Then please feel free to link again to week 4 for the Strawberry Lemonade flavor! I can't wait to see it.

Thank you, Kristin xo
