Hi there all you WOYWDWers. It's Thursday! But I was working all day yesterday so I will show you what I got up to when I finally got the kids to bed after school and karate.
The messy pile of stash on my desk is my January Counterfeit Kit, which I had out to make birthday cards for my nephew and his mum.
My sister-in-law needed something more grown up (although she's also a Harry Potter fan). I cut the daisies from the last scrap of a particularly lovely sheet of patterned paper, which I'd been saving even though it was too small to do anything else with. The drawings were cut from a very old English composition text book which had been shoved to the back of our teaching resources cupboard. When you see the final picture inside the card you'll know why we don't use the book anymore!

Great cards - I love the use of the old book and the last scraps of paper (I may possibly hang on to small scraps myself - possibly ...)
Gorgeous cards! And love the idea of posting pictures of your work desk!!
Love it!! Killing myself laughing!! My middlests training to be a Gamekeeper, PMSL, sorry too good!!
Ho ho! That last picture made me laugh. It was not at all what I was expecting. Great cards and thanks for sharing even if it was late. I'm still popping around and visiting folks.
Great cards - I'm so excited you were able to use the Harry Potter cards! That turned out perfect!
lovely cards! i am a cut & paste kind of gal too! don't stamp much. never got into it! cutting books apart! oh, my! oh, wait I just did that too!
I love those drawings - what a great find. Or is that a "save". Maybe you grabbed it before it was binned like any good crafter would :)
Ha! brilliant card Kirsty, I could do with another just like it - that could be my beloved father as the character in the now inappropriate book!!
Nice use of stash.
Good looking cards you got there!
