My camera phone is not the best quality, but I really want to get more photos of P and myself this year, so this is a good start. |
This Spring I have 2 40ths, a 70th and a 90th birthday coming up, as well as several other non-milestone birthdays and a have a very sparse card stash at present, so with that in mind I created 'Vintage Amber for Men (which sounds more like an aftershave than a papercraft kit!)
Here are my papers:
The embellishments are fairly loosely inspired by the original kit, but they fit with the projects I have in mind.
I'll probably create some bunting with the scraps as I go along. Visit the Counterfeit Kit blog for some more homemade versions of this lovely Cocoa Daisy kit.
I'm looking forward to some time to play with it, but I'm not sure how much I'll get now we are back into normal school routine.

Vintage Amber for men sounds like it should smell gorgeous!
It's lovely to see a rare photo of the two of you - maybe we will see more this year?
What a busy weekend you had! And a lovely kit to top it off!
Great kit! Love your papers and embellies!
It will be fun to see some masculine layouts! I always struggle with those!
Your kit looks nice and full of interesting things.
I like that you made a more "manly" kit. I like your colors and papers and that you added playing cards.
What a fun name. I can't wait to see what you use the playing cards for!
Wow, it sounds like a busy and fun-filled weekend! I'm so glad you're getting more photos of the two of you together!
You kit looks great - can't wait to see what you make with it.
Had to laugh at your kit name - looks good though! Happy New Year Kirsty - have fun !
I love that you made the kit to suit the projects that you have in mind - and the aftershave name :)
