A Pattern and a Punch

Loving my new 2"butterfly punch.

This simple card was made with shapes punched from a vintage dress pattern I bought from a charity shop some months ago. The pattern is printed on very thin tissue so I put 3 layers into the punch at a time, layered between some ordinary scrap paper. I put them inside an old envelope. I think coloured the butterflies with Promarkers and adhered them with a glue stick. The adhesive pearls add a touch of bling.

The second card is made with the blue and white shapes punched from the lining of the envelope, and one extra one punched specially from a piece of junk mail. Love this way of recycling mail.  I'm thinking I might make a gift set from junk mail.

Oh no. Just when I was getting the hang of putting the junk mail in the bin, you've given me a reason to save it!!!!! :-)
