What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?

I am badly in need of some scrapbooking and retail therapy, but I have vowed not to buy any more stash until I've made a dent in my overflowing green box of scraps.

A succession of not very serious but very annoying  and costly things have happened this week- mostly caused by my own forgetfullness:
Last Saturday I forgot my bank PIN number. So I went to the bank and asked for a new one, which they finally sent on Thursday and but which still didn't work. I had to borrow from my son's piggy bank to take him to his karate lesson. I am still waiting for my 3rd PIN.
In that time, I also needed to tax my car - which had expired without me noticing so I wasn't able to do it online - more borrowed money.
I was having a lovely day in London this weekend with a friend until I realised I'd lost my return ticket. It cost me an extra £10 to get back home; there are many things I would have rather have spent £10 on.
And today I realised I have mislayed my work diary, which also contains my mark book and is my bible.
It doesn't help that this is all my own fault -I'm feeling very cross and very skint.

To relax,  I started the new scrapbook page you can see on my desk, with a sheet of  BoBunny dotted cardstock which I did buy (on sale) yesterday. I made the paper-pieced lion to complement the photo and the story and recoloured the alphas. The Papermania stickers and tiny gold brads left over from my Christmas card-making might make an appearance on this page as well.
On my desk, you can also see my trusty XCut corner rounder (this is probably my Desert Island Tool  love it) and my basket of tools and things I use all the time.

Hope you've had a better week. Sorry for moaning. I'm looking forward to a bit of blog-browsing around some other desks. It's cheaper than shopping, but almost as much fun.

Hey sweetie,

I'm sending some memory pills your way. Sounds like you need to de-stress. I am sure that a bit of REAL rest is part of the key to better concentration. I've been like that myself for several weeks, but at least I didn't lose any money, only face and pride! Of course, it was around real friends, so guess I didn't really lose those, either.

And you were NOT moaning. After all, that's what we are here for. Happy WOYWW from #10.

Great work desk. Love the lion. I hate to hear when someone has such a bad week. Hope this next one is better. I had the same problem with the pin years ago and they had to reissue a card and pin. Seemed to take forever!

What a horrid week you have had. Hope the new pin number works, but don't hold your breath. My bank once changed the pin number without even telling me while I was on holiday - not funny!!

On a brighter note, I love that lion and look forward to seeing the finished article.

I don't know many people that don't have a week like that once in a while; and when they/we do, we all moan. :)
Hope your week improves soon. Your page colors are great and I love that lion.
