Project Life Goes on Holiday

I took PL cards to France with me, as they don't take up much room and did most of this layout out there.

That is definitely my preferred way of working - I choose a kit (or three) for the month and then I can work on 1 or 2 cards as and when I have time. I print at home so I don't have to wait and do the whole month in one go.

I didn't take many embellishments with me though so I have only just finished off the spread.

Most of the cards are from the Family themed pack. I cut black and white labels and titles from the Midnight edition. And I also used one other-the first PL set I ever had, which I received as a blog gift.  Anyone know where these cards are from?
Most of my journaling is handwritten but I like the variety of a typed 'review' card and the Tim Holtz word stickers.

The 'Happy Place' die cut is by Dear Lizzy and I punched out the extra circles so the photo of our holiday home showed through then used the circles as tags

The name of the circus was handcut from a promotional flyer to layer over my photo.

I like the variety of portraits of my children with some scenery and close up shots. I often forget to take pictures of things like the yummy French croissants and our (shocking!) 10 Pin Bowling score.

Hi Kirsty - if you want to find out what collection those PL cards belong to, head on over to Becky Higgins' blog and it will be somewhere there under the products tab. Or, in the digital supplies section where you can see entire collections at once.

I enjoyed the snaps in your prior post and I'm impressed that you've gotten it all documented in PL already. What a bonus!
