After our amazing trip to the Harry Potter studios on Saturday, the rest of Half Term was bound to be less exciting, but we managed to pack in a fair amount including 2 lunches out (a pub roast with all of P's family and a visit to a Chinese restaurant run by one of the parents at P's school)
While R spent some quality time with my Mum and Dad and Nanny on Monday (and apparently won £1.32 at cards) M and I met up with a couple of her schoolfriends at RHS Wisley and enjoyed the only warm bright day of the week. The Butterflies in the Glasshouse are an annual attraction, but this was the first time I'd seen them. Beautiful.
I fitted in a shopping trip in town by myself - so nice to just be able to browse, although gone are the days when I could browse in Next and Accessorise. These days it's Primark and Claire's!
I was also able to get ahead with my lesson planning for the next half term - only 4 weeks until my students take their ESOL Speaking and Listening exams. This is a big deal, as the exams are only run once a year and some of the students need to pass in order to apply for Briish Citizenship before the law changes in October.
The rest of the week was filled with trips to the park, visits from cousins and lots of TV watching in pyjamas. M and I picked up an bug and we were both sick on Friday, but fortunately it didn't last long.

Sorry to hear about the sickness and glad it was short lived - the rest of your weeks sounds packed with events and enjoyment. I've never been to a butterfly house ... your photos are lovely.
Wow, it sounds like it was a great half-term!
It sounds like you managed to fit a lot in. Sorry to hear it ended with catching a bug though.
You managed to pack a lot in...glad the bug didn't hang around!
