This is the first time I have joined in with the inspiration combos at the Play Date Cafe. As part of my play day on Thursday, I noticed it was their 3rd birthday and I particularly enjoyed these colours.
They were perfect for these pictures of my trip to see 'Wicked in London. and they fitted with my Counterfeit Kit for this month, so I went straight for the papers I'd just pulled out for that.
I used a blue denim DCVW sheet for the background and layered a sheet of burgundy cardstock on top, then used my shiny new guilltotine to cut strips of the flowery Paper Pizzazz paper. I inked everything with Chipped Sapphire distress ink, then laid them down.
I realised that it could be made to work a bit like a pinboard so I added the photos and ticket at angles and tucked them under the paper strips. I made a colour photocopy of a page from my programme and punched a picture of Elphaba (the 'Wicked' Witch of the West) into a circle. The red resin flower buttons act as 'pins'.
The title is a quoted from one of the songs, but also refers to my 40 year friendship with Fleur. Lacking tiny alphas, I instead printed it onto card and cut out the individual words. I highlighted 'you', 'changed' and 'good' with stickers, then added some more journalling about our relationship with a white gel pen.

Lovely, Kirsty - I like the pinboard idea with the overlapping :)
Great job! I think the best way to see Wicked is with best friends! Love how you scrapped your photos!

Fab page for a lovely outing - and how great that your title does double duty too. Love the ephemera additions too.
Great page - I see you used that eye-catching blue floral paper right away. I don't blame you! Looks fab.
