Finding Fun

I am trying to join in with the lovely Carolyn's great idea - Finding Fun.

The first week's prompt had lots of great ideas for walking but, as anyone in the UK will know, it really hasn't been going-for-a-walk weather so I opted for one of the indoor, craft-based suggestions.

I 'took my pen for a walk'.. and a run.. and a meander... and a skip. I tried to use different pen strokes to represent different modes of locomotion, then I coloured in some of the shapes.

I have to admit. It did exactly what it said on the tin. It was fun.

I fancy trying my hand at a pirate map next.

Joining you from Finding Fun. At first I though Uhoh...I'm going to be so far out of my comfort zone...but it was all OK.
I love the descriptions of the type of walk!

Love the idea of a double paged pencil walk. I'm so tempted to buy a little sketch book and fill it up with pencil walks lol

Oh I love this! I had to look at all the different ways your pencil was moving and could imagine it with a life of its own as it moved across the paper, laughing as you tried to keep up!

I've struggled with the weather a bit this week, but am hoping to get out this evening.

This was a fun challenge wasnt it - I might try the walking pen next if I get chance I like the way you have coloured yours in too.

I agree - it's fun. I tried this same thing before heading to bed night before last & it was relaxing to just doodle & color.
