As you have probably realised, I'm extremely tight when it comes to buying pre-made embellishments. I drool over things like this:
and this: and this and this
But I can't justify spending so much on my hobby so I don't use many embellishments, and those I do need, I make.(I do buy letter stickers though, despite owning several sets of alphabet stamps.), I
Anyway, this is just to highlight how rare it is for me to buy packs of embellishments. However, I have had a splurge this week. This little lot cost me £9 in total, which I am really happy with, especially considering those yummy Prima Art Tiles above cost $3.99 at Two Peas in a Bucket, plus the pesky shipping fees.
The 'Amour' stamp and purple flowers were cover gifts with a French Scrapbook magazine, so I'm cheating a little but all the rest was bought for £9. The 'Craft For Occasions' and Papermania 'Elements' packs were On Sale in Hobbycraft, the pink-topped 'Embellishments' were from a cheap stationery shop and the unpronounable Skumbogstaver Alpha set came from a new shop in our local shopping centre called Tiger. I think it's Swedish and it sells just about everything you never knew you wanted. I also treated myself to a new (neon pink) stapler and these two lucious stones while I was in there.
Now I need the time to use them all on some cards and layouts. I'm also too tight to stockpile stuff - I always use it. What about you? Share how much you spend on your hobby? I won't tell anyone, promise!

What a wonderful little stash of new items! Have fun with them.
I won't admit to how much I spend, but I will say that today I stopped at Big Lots and picked up 5 new packs of Thickers for only $2 per pack! Can't wait to use them - really, you just can't have enough Thickers, right?
I like to make or alter stuff I have - but love to buy new stash too! I get most from the sales and charity shops - but sometimes splurge on new bits. I have to keep telling myself that I don't NEED stuff from the new releases (but I want it ....)
