Apologies for the rubbish photo, but it's 5pm onTuesday and it's dark already. I DON'T like November. To paraphrase a more famous wordsmith than I; NO light, NO fun, NO Christmas yet.
Anyway - to business (and if you don't know what the business is then visit our hostess Julia for the gen)
You can see I got my heat gun out to do some embossing. I bought a gorgeous nativity stamp from Papermania but it's too big to make toppers so I tried stamping straight onto the card, and they just don't look finished but I don't know what else to do with them. Answers on a postcard, please!
M came to join me as I was stamping. She produced 8 Christmas cards in the time it took me to do 3. You can see hers in the basket, top right.
Also on my desk, next to the laptop, are a pile of catalogues; I've done about half my Christmas shopping already without having been anywhere near a shop! Love Amazon! and, on the printer, my red SMASHbook which I have started prepping for Journal Your Christmas
And last, but definitely not least, myshiny lovely new laptop, bought last month with my birthday money. I don't know whether I mentioned this, but I LOVE it!
BTW Only 7 more WOYWDWs until Christmas!! Just thought I'd mention it. It always amazes me when people say "I can't believe it's Christmas already".
Newsflash: It comes round at about the same time EVERY YEAR!!
Happy Wednesday!

I’m doing a quick dash round as many desks as I can in my coffee break [yes I do allow myself a coffee break :-) ] to see what you’ve all been up to. So much fab creativity going on everywhere I go. It’s really brilliant. Love the new laptop :-)
Keep doing what you do best and have a great week
Hugs,

Ooo laptop envy here - how lovely. x Jo
You sound as if your Christmas preparations are well under way! I love Amazon because they make it so easy to order - other internet shopping drives me made if I have to create 20 new accounts with 20 passwords!
Oh new PC envy!! and do you mind, but I dont really need to be reminded that I have only one christmas pressie sorted so far, lol
Have fun
Happy WOYWW Lou #44
Nice shiny new computer. I'm joining everyone else who hasn't really done much about Christmas...but then I don't tend to do so until about now anyway.
Thanks for the peek and sharing. Hope you are having a wonderful WOYWW.
xoxo Marjo
I would love a new laptop so I am a bit jealous and very happy to see someone else uses under her work desk as basket storage... though mine is more leaning tower of basket storage and I spend all my time kicking my shins on them... lovely space though xx
It's so good to be able to sit and do Christmas shopping without leaving the house, isn't it?! Embossing the large image sounds like a good idea - I love heat embossing (Hazel WOYWW #89)
Nice BD present!
Wow, you really put Christmas into perspective. And that's a great laptop. I bet you DO love it. Happy day after WOYWW from # 4.
NOOOOOO! Only 7 more Wednesdays!!!! :) Christmas is definately coming too fast this year! Thanks for sharing your WOYWW! -Amanda
I hate the early dark nights ...mind you the weather has been so bad that even the mornings are dark and miserable until eleven. Love the LO above with the little girls ...great use of that paper.
I'm late, but it's still November, and I'm with you about it! You do get alot done, your new laptop enthusiasm makes me smile! I enjoyed your LOs, specially the tranquil one featuring P.
