What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday? 100

Wednesday again. Welcome WOYWWers. Sorry I haven't been around for a few weeks, but school holidays , and royal weddings and ....... enough excuses - you know what it's like.
So here we are halfway what feels like a very busy week. Yes, I know Monday was a Bank Holiday but 2 days out of 4 is still halfway, right, and neither the kids or I are really back into term-time routines yet.

If you didn't know, WOYWW is a weekly nose round the beautiful crafty spaces of over 100 beautiful crafty people. Click to find the list at Julia's Stamping Ground.

So, to business. As well as my usual ribbon jar, laptop, tool caddy and scraps boxes, there is a half finished layout on my desk.

and a jumble of beads and jewellery. I haven't made any jewellery this year. I don't really know why, I've just felt more like scrapping than beading. However, I have booked a jewellery stall at my daughter's summer fete so I need to get going on child-sized bracelets and necklaces to sell at child-sized prices. These were made when I first started this hobby and while some fit the bill well, others need to be taken apart and frogged.  . I tried to sell them last year and I don't think anyone was prepared to spend proper money on grown-up jewellery  - it just wasn't the right venue, so I've adjusted my expectations this time around. . If no-one has wanted them in 18 months (including me) they are fair game to be upcycled.
Have a great week.
X Kirsty

I like your adjusted attitude. Although it's too bad you can't sell them at a better price, sometimes taking them apart and redoing the bracelets and necklaces will help sell them. Of course, I see your partial layout, too. Hope you show it finished next week.

I've missed you and should be here more. I need to start coming by more often and not just on Wednesday. Happy WOYWW (#6).

Lovely workspace, Love those rosey silhouette images. I think you'll do well knowing your market better and adjusting your product. It's good to remember things can uaually be upcycled when needed. TFS!
