May Counterfeit Kit

Happy Scrapbooking Day!!
No time for actual scrapping today (R to drama, then M to a party... yardy yardy yar) but I'm off to the Scraploonies Crop tomorrow so I made time to put together my Counterfeit Kit for this month.
I adore this kit from Work In Progress Kits   -  right up my street- and I had no trouble finding items to make up a counterfeit. I have pulled a lot more embellishments this month than I normally would, and I'm dying to have a go at layering embellishments a la Jennifer Larson. It's something I don't do often enough. This is my ABC Kit.
The patterned paper is Zoophabet paper by Imaginisce, but I don't know where the other scraps are from. The text pennant alphas are Lost and Found by My Mind's Eye (really love this line). the Japanese chipboard pieces and the children stickers were both cover gifts from Papercraft Inspirations.

The girlies at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge also challenged us to create a boy - themed add on kit. So here is my Schoolboy Kit.
The Monsters sheet is by DCWV and the shaped stars is Imaginisce again. I have also picked a vintage dress pattern which I bought from a charity shop a few weeks ago but I've no idea how to use it. Anyone got any tips?

Great kits - you were more ambitious than me by making the boys` add-on! I like your taste in books - I`ve read most of those myself but the few that I haven`t I`ve added to my `to-read` list. Thanks!

Yours is the perfect kit for someone with lots of kiddy photos to scrap and I love the choices of embellishments. Looking good! x

I especially like the look of that boy kit Kirsty. I'm having trouble pulling one together this month, I'm still thinking my way into it.

Great job on the kits. As for the dress pattern, how about altering a box for a friend that sews? Or a few cards for your 'vintage" friends?

For the dress pattern, use it to make flowers!!!! Punch a bunch of flowers, then stack them and put a brad threw the stack for a shabby chic look. I love using things like that. Or use it on a mixed media canvas painting!!! (Think Claudine Hellmuth)

Your kits look fantastic. So fun!!!! xoxo

I love how you got the fun "feel" of the inspiration kit, but added a softness to it!
