April's Counterfeit Kit Challenge

This is the inspiration kit for April's Counterfeit challenge.

Called 'A Little Birdie Told Me', it is the first ever kit by a new Kit Club called Front Porch Kits.
I like the look of it - lots of buttons and ribbons with fresh reds and blues; it's a really Spring-like kit. Unfortunately, I don't have any reds at all left in my stash (must have used them all at Christmas) and I have vowed not to buy anything unless I really need it this year so I'll make do with the blues and yellows. Yellow isn't a colour I use often except as an accent so had plenty of that.
These are the papers I eventually decided on

There are loads of buttons and ribbons so I'll enjoy using up some of these:

Despite an informative exchange of emails with Clair, I won't be investing in any of the Maya Road bottle tops - not my sort of thing- but I love the birdies and butterflies. The Love Birds transparency is from a very old Papermania Sweet Nothings kit. I have a stamp and template to match so I'm sure these will make an appearance.
I'm taking my kit to France with me - let's see what I do with it.

Great kit, Kirsty! I know what you mean about the bottle caps-I have never used them and I'm not sure if I will this month, either. Aren't you glad you can customize your kit? :)
