Creating with February's counterfeit kit - Esmerelda

Villedieu les Poeles (God's Town of the Frying Pans - great name!)  is a lovely town. I thoroughly recommend a visit if you are in Normandy,France. This photo was taken at one of the very few working bell foundries still in existence in Europe. It was fascinating to see the process of casting a bell from start to finish. The town is a major producer of copper goods and there are dozens of gift shops selling them. I was keen to visit the lace museum too, but one museum a day is enough for my children, so we'll save that for next year.

The layout was created with my February Counterfeit kit, plus the beautiful glittered paper from My Mind's Eye that I was seduced by last week. I think it is totally in the spirit of the original kit, although I hardly had any products that really matched. The patterned papers are Papermania Joyeux Noel Christmas papers from 2009 (there's a definite French theme going on here). The adhesive pearls and bling alphas are from Hobbycraft.  The flourish stamp is by Rhona Farrer. I made the stick pin and flowers for the Counterfeit challenge.
Anyway, I like it, and that's what matters. Hope you do too.
