- I'm a part-time ESOL teacher in Surrey, England. Working at both a Sixth Form College and in the community, I teach a range of learners from German Au Pairs to Pakistani housewives, who provide me with an endless supply of anecdotes. We follow the Skills for Life curriculum and our students sit Cambridge Skills for Life exams. I also teach Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English.

Hi Kirsty, Ive just been catching up on your blog and wanted to say I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with your new hearing aid. I have known many who have experienced similar when their aids were new but they all seem to say you learn to shut out the extra noises. I wish you the very best of luck with it. I guess you just have to do your best and be patient. I believe they are life changing when you have adapted to wearing them.

Hi Kirsty, Love your digi work. I have never been able to get my head around it. Hope you get used to your hearing aid, I dont know anyone who uses one so cant give any advice sorry.
