What's on Your workdesk Wednesday?

I've been working on jewellery this week.

I like the chain cluster set (I'm a bit of a matching set girl!) but the lapiz lazuli chips and pearls have been giving me some headaches. A colleague asked me to make her a choker from single strand of lapiz lazuli chips and a broken pearl necklace. Unfortunately, the pearls had been glued to nylon thread and (apart from 7, which were already loose) they are still glued to it. I have tried everything to remove them: heating them to melt the glue just melted the thread and made it worse; a £15 bead reamer was hard work, but ultimately unsuccessful; and soaking them in acetone made no difference whatsoever. I think I will just have to work with the pearls I have got and supplement them with some other beads.

Scrap-wise, I'm working on my March pages for Document 2010 and the Photoshop picture you can see on the laptop is a 6x4 of R's karate.

The documents for my family tree research are also on my desk.

Enjoy looking at everyone else's.

Yeah, Ilike the idea of LL and pearls very much, shame they're being a stiky bitch to work with. So what happens with Document 2010 - do you collect and document all year and then have a scrapping frenzy at the begiining of 2011?

Great necklaces, pity about the pearls though. Have a great Easter in France, hope it was warmer than last time.
