Still scrapping along

I've been AWOL this month - sorry. Can't believe we are more than halfway through the month.
The rain and floods has been a constant theme since Christmas and show no signs of abating yet.  We have enrolled 100 new students onto adult courses so I am busy with diagnostic assessments and exam entries. 1 of my tutees have been causing anxiety too since the start of term, so that has added to my workload.

I have been scrapping, however, I just haven't had time to blog. I've been collecting photos and memorabilia for my Project Life, which I will compile monthly. I've already made several cards for it though - too impatient to leave it all until the end of the month.
I have also made a last Christmas layout. The photo shows the kids and me at the Santa Express. the layout is based on a Sketch to Scrapbook Page by Shimelle, but I didn't have much journaling so it ended up looking a bit different. I wanted to use up some more specifically Christmassy stash so on top of the 2 sheets of Simple Stories December Documented background paper, I layered on the glittery Studio Calico stars and word art then finished off with Ranger Liquid Pearls which I have just treated myself to for the first time. The washi tape at the edges makes a change from my usual background paper border.

You have done well to be able to scrap this much given how busy life is for you! Such a bright and glitzy layout. I do like the washi tape edging - brill idea.
