10 Images of Normandy

All over the region this year, apparently randomly placed sat the side of the road,we have been spotting these decorated bicycles. My son claims to have counted 103 on a 30-min journey. We think they are to celebrate the French Year of the Bicycle. Whatever, he reason, they brighten up a journey or a walk around any town.

These sculptures are in the local village of Le Neufbourg: There are more of these than there are local inhabitatants!

This crest on a house in the same village made me smile. At first glance it looks like the lions of the Normandy flag, but on closer inspection it turns out to be Two Kittens Rampant!
