Using up the leftovers AKA not adding to the pile of scraps which will never be used

I love making cards with my leftovers - much, MUCH more fun than tidying up or putting them in the scraps pile to haunt me for the next 12 months.

Here is a spring-like aperture card made with unused daffodils from the previous layout. I had wanted to include the lovely EKSuccess vellum stickers, but couldn't do so without covering up my background paper (scroll down to previous post).

I usually leave a space on my cards for me to add the greeting when I decide who to send it to. It's annoying to find the perfect card to send a friend who's feeling down, and then realise it says Happy Birthday.

Lovely card and good for you for using up scraps right away. I am presently haunted by a huge supply of scraps! ;) Great idea to add the sentiment later!

I love how vellum stickers match your ribbon flowers so well! Lovely card,

That's a really pretty card Kirsty and I do love the idea of leaving room for the appropriate sentiment!

Lovely, lovely card. A great way to use your scraps before they get forgotten. I'm trying to work my way through mine!
