What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?

Welcome, if you've come over here from Julia's fab WOYWW. I don't have much on the go at the moment, so I thought I'd let you look inside the antique bureau which I have adopted as a hiding place for my stash. You should feel very privileged - I don't let just anyone rummage in there!

All my adhesives, scissors, inks, embossing powders (anything which would make a massive mess or cause injury if the children got hold of them) live in the main part of the bureau. I don't do a lot of stamping so my collection is much smaller than some of those I have admired on previous Wednesdays. The pink box on top holds all my small scraps of paper for use on cards. The drawers are a pefect size for 12x12 papers, which are roughly sorted into colour-co-ordinated piles. The bottom drawer is full of gift boxes containing finished pieces of jewellery ready to sell or give as presents.
Enjoy your day, I'm off for a snoop at what other people have been up to!

This is my second visit to your bureau and I love it. Have now got designs on the one I have downstairs as would be good for when I can't make it up the stairs to my craft room-greedy I know but sometimes I just want to loz out and watch telly while I do a bit of crafty stuff. Have you tried Carte d'or ice cream boxes for stash.Very sturdy, stackable and the contents are tasty too!Hugs BettyXXX

oo thanks for allowing us in, and what a gorgeous piece of furniture. I am so torn between modern furniture and older pieces that have character.

Lovely, and thanks for the rummage - what a special person I am, arf arf! I think you have quite a lot of papers on the quiet. Yummy. I have a bureau too - it's in my bedroom - draws full of PJs etc and the desk section is make up and well, that sort of stuff - they are so good at hiding stuff!
